Working in collaboration with the audio-visual production company Algorithm, together we designed, fabricated, and operated two of the major stages for the first Metropolis Festival in Dublin Ireland. Informed by the musical acts curated for each stage, we designed two separate spaces to reflect the distinct sonic character. One room featured an expansive set design spanning the width of the entire hall, projection mapped and illuminated from behind with an LED wall. The second room featured audio reactive visuals for displayed on a stage wide screen.
Specifically I was involved as a creative director, helping to conceptualizing the stage designs. During the event I worked with the team to install the two stages, as well as operate visuals for performers such as Kerri Chandler, KiNK, and Jeff Mills.
